Kyle Shelton Joins Charlotte Knights

Infielder Kyle Shelton has been transferred to the Charlotte Knights roster. Shelton, 24, is a native of Charlotte and is a 2008 graduate of the University of North Carolina where he starred for the Tar Heels for four seasons. Shelton is currently in his fourth professional season and he has not previously played at the Triple-A level. (MinorLeagueBaseball.com)
