Former Tarboro star Shaun Draughn signs with Washington

Tarboro native is a member of the Washington Redskins. Draughn agreed to a free agent deal with Washington on Tuesday during the first day of a busy signing period for NFL teams. Draughn, a 6-foot, 205-pound running back who played at UNC from 2007-2010, was not selected in April’s NFL Draft, but he quickly was scooped up by the Redskins a day after the league’s 132-day lockout ended.
