T.J. Yates signs with Houston Texans

On the day they report to training camp, the Texans have signed three more of their draft choices — outside linebacker Brooks Reed, cornerback Brandon Harris and quarterback T.J. Yates. Yates, 24, is the fifth-round pick who has an opportunity to become the third quarterback behind Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart if he does well in camp and preseason.
