Mike Paulus' Tar Heel Sympathy

William and Mary quarterback Mike Paulus has been an interested observer in the drama surrounding the UNC football program. Paulus spent three seasons in Chapel Hill before transferring to W&M in the spring of 2010. He was as surprised as anyone at the timing of head coach Butch Davis' firing -- just days before the start of practice. He wrote Davis a letter shortly after his dismissal. (Daily Press)
