UCLA DE eyeing transfer to UNC

Defensive end Derrick Bryant is buried on a depth chart full of young and promising UCLA defenders. The redshirt freshman would have had a lot of competition for one of the crucial starting spots. And with so many talented defensive ends, it makes football sense that Bryant is transferring out of Westwood. The new schools he's looking at (the North Carolina Tar Heels, Nebraska Cornhuskers and Indiana Hoosiers) will also feature heavy competition.
