UNC president, Board of Governors support Chancellor Thorp

UNC President Tom Ross and the UNC Board of Governors released a statement Friday indicating that UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Holden Thorp has their full backing. “We are confident that the many positive initiatives and innovations being carried out under (Chancellor Thorp’s) leadership will ensure that UNC-Chapel Hill remains one of America’s premier public universities,” the statement concluded.
