Brad Daugherty has another passion: Auto racing

Growing up in Black Mountain, N.C., just outside of Asheville, Brad Daugherty learned to love two sports — college basketball and auto racing. “My two passions are racing and college basketball,” Daugherty said Wednesday. “I love college basketball. I’m a huge college basketball fan. And I got my love of auto racing from my dad.” Daugherty first made a name for himself on the basketball court. (Syracuse Post-Standard)
