Heels nearing end of road


A long stretch of road games for North Carolina will end today, for a weary group of players and a very pleased coach. North Carolina will take its unbeaten record and No. 1 ranking in both national polls to Piscataway, N.J., for a game against Rutgers at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. It will be the Tar Heels’ sixth consecutive game away from the Smith Center, where they last played on Nov. 20. (Winston-Salem Journal)
