UNC's Gio Bernard ready to dominate
Posted Aug 15, 2011
Don’t bother suggesting to North Carolina’s football players that Giovanni Bernard lost a step after suffering a terrible knee injury during the first practice of last season. They’ll have nothing to do with such talk. The Tar Heels in unison can’t stop gushing about the redshirt freshman tailback, whose speed might be his greatest attribute on the field, but his gregarious nature, self-sureness, and general decent demeanor are his assets away from the gridiron.
