Wolfpack tops Tar Heels in budget growth

The Wolfpack athletics department’s budget is growing faster than that of the rival Tar Heels. Over the past three years, NCSU’s athletics department budget has grown nearly 24 percent to $56.6 million, according to SportsBusiness Journal. The athletics budget at UNC-Chapel Hill is larger – $72.2 million – but is only growing at a 17 percent clip over the same period. (Triangle Business Journal)
