Aircraft carrier game, holiday tourneys highlight ACC schedule

North Carolina, the probable top-ranked team in the nation entering the campaign, has an intriguing and difficult slate. The Tar Heels, which return its starting lineup and welcome a couple of highly touted freshmen, open the season Nov. 11 versus Michigan State on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson docked in San Diego. A contingency plan is in place to move the game below deck in case of inclement weather.
