Texans high on T.J. Yates

Gary Kubiak was asked if rookie T.J. Yates, who has improved throughout training camp and the last week of practice, had a chance at being No. 2. "I think he has the ability to do that," Kubiak said. "He's got the ability, he's got the arm, he's got the brain, all those things, just needs reps and the closer we get, he gets less, so that's the thing that makes it hard." (Houston Chronicle)
