Ed Geth named Marshall assistant women's coach

Ed Geth, a former player for the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team, is the new member of the Marshall Thundering Herd women's program. Geth's hiring as a Marshall assistant women's coach was announced this week by head coach Royce Chadwick. The 6-foot-8 Geth played for the Tar Heels from 1992 to 1996, including the 1993 national championship team coached by Dean Smith. (Huntington Herald-Dispatch)
