Bengals claim Brandon Tate off waivers

Tate, who is entering his third year, returned two kicks for touchdowns last year for New England including a 97-yarder in the opener against the Bengals last year. However the 2009 third-round pick did not develop as well as the Patriots had hoped. He was the team’s third receiver last year and had 24 catches for 432 yards and three touchdowns.
