Former Tar Heels coach Bunting hurts for alma mater

Former North Carolina coach John Bunting said he’s pained to see his alma mater’s image tarnished by the investigations of NCAA and academic wrongdoings that have tainted the football program for more than a year. “To be dragged through the muck has been tough for a lot of us to handle,” Bunting said last week prior to filling his role as a broadcast analyst for the Wake Forest / Syracuse football game.
