Alli Tanner stars in reserve role for champ Tar Heels

This year's Final Four in NCAA Division I women's field hockey included an assortment of players and coaches from Lancaster County, with one local player topping the rest by earning a national title. Solanco graduate Alli Tanner played a key role off the bench for a Tar Heels team that wrapped up a 24-0 season with a 3-0 win over Penn State. The Tar Heels were only the fifth squad in NCAA history to finish the season undefeated. (Lancaster Online)
