Posted Sep 17, 2011
Just a week ago, North Carolina was home to the nation’s top-ranked field hockey, men’s soccer and women’s soccer teams. It didn’t last long. The women’s soccer team lost to Texas A&M on Sunday, and their male counterparts lost to Virginia Tech on Tuesday. Finally came field hockey, which lost to No. 2 Old Dominion 3-1 on Friday night in front of 478 at Henry Stadium.
