Donta Manuel exuded a strength that later would serve him and the men around him in countless crises, that would see him through a near-fatal car wreck and a long recovery process. A strength on display when, now a full-blown deputy, he would jump from his car and long-stride after fleeing bad guys. Until, one dark morning, those long legs let him down. (Palm Beach Post)
