Matt Merletti gets his souvenir game ball, finally

When UNC safety got his first interception of the season in Saturday's victory against Virginia, he took the ball to the sideline and gave it to a manager for safe-keeping and an eventual trip to the Merletti bookcase. But the game ball was quickly reclaimed by a sideline official and put back in play. Then he intercepted the same ball again - this time on the final possession for the Cavs - and took it to the house so to speak. (Raleigh News & Observer)
