UNC football commit Damien Washintgon recovering from knee surgery

Kannapolis coach Mike Newsome said that UNC commitment Damien Washington is expected to miss three more weeks. Washington, who was suffering from a knee injury, has missed two games so far. “The doctor who did the surgery was here today and he said it went real well,” Newsome said. The Kannapolis coach declined to specify the surgery that was done. (Concord Independent Tribune)
