Panthers release Kendric Burney from practice squad

The Panthers released former UNC cornerback Kendric Burney from their practice squad Tuesday according to the team's official twitter account. Burney, who went undrafted in the 2011 NFL draft, was signed as a rookie free agent by Carolina on July 30. The Panthers have signed LB Kion Wilson, who was on the San Diego Chargers' roster last season, in Burney's spot. (WRAL Sports Fan)
