Pinecrest OL Bryce Kennedy commits to UNC
Posted Oct 9, 2011
Pinecrest High school offensive lineman Bryce Kennedy has seen his recruiting stock rise steadily since last March when he held a lone scholarship offer from Florida International. Nine more schools have since offered Kennedy, but one finally separated itself this weekend. North Carolina received an oral commitment from the 6-foot-4, 285-pound senior Saturday prior to its 14-7 victory against Louisville. Kennedy chose the Tar Heels over offers from FIU, Duke, East Carolina, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky and runner-up N.C. State.
