In ACC hoops, early returns can be misleading

As recently as 2006, when the ACC fully expanded to its current 12-member roster, league squads played a combined 11 times prior to November 19. Last season they played 35 games that early in November. This year the total was 34. The explosion of pre-Thanksgiving fare occurred thanks to an NCAA rule change. (Tar Heel Daily)
