Cunningham's history includes NCAA issues


When Bubba Cunningham takes over as North Carolina’s athletic director on Nov. 14, one of his most important duties will be ensuring the department is in compliance with NCAA rules. Yet Cunningham enters the job having experienced the result of an NCAA investigation. The NCAA hit Ball State University with sanctions, including lack of institutional control, in 2007.
