Everett Withers termed “conduct detrimental to the team.” Though Withers declined to provide details about the circumstances leading to Okakpu’s dismissal, published reports indicate that the 6-foot-2, 225-pound senior got into a shouting match with an assistant coach during UNC’s 30-24 loss to the Tar Heels.
