As a methodological reminder, Hansbrough’s selection at #1 doesn’t (necessarily) mean he’d be my first pick for a single game or that he had the highest peak value of any Tar Heel or that he’s the most talented player in the history of the program. In a must-win game, I’d (probably) choose a peak-value Worthy, Lawson, Jordan, Ford, or May over “Psycho T.” (Tobacco Road Blues)
