No. 1 Carolina Field Hockey Advances With Shutout Of Ohio

The top-ranked North Carolina field hockey team scored four goals after halftime to advance in NCAA Tournament play with a 4-0 first round win over No. 20 Ohio Saturday afternoon at Francis E. Henry Stadium. UNC, the top seed in the 16-team field, improved to 21-1 with the win and advances to a second round game. The Tar Heels will face eighth-ranked Michigan on Sunday at 2 p.m.
