ACC bowl picture coming into focus

The Tar Heels, who are making their fourth straight bowl appearance, would be ticketed for RFK Stadium in Washington. The Military Bowl's tie-ins are complicated, but since neither Navy nor Army is bowl eligible, UNC's opponent could be an extra team from either the Mountain West or the Big Ten. Air Force (7-5) would be the natural fit, but it might be selected ahead of either Wyoming or San Diego State. (Charlotte Observer)
