Saturday’s game against Long Beach State isn’t just another cupcake matchup during North Carolina’s nine-game homestand. Facing tough foes on the road has become the norm for the 49ers, who lost to Kansas by eight points at Allen Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. UNC coach Roy Williams noted during his postgame news conference on Tuesday night that the 49ers would pose a test.
