Tar Heels Advance To Championship Match On Penalties


Ben Speas put away the final penalty and Carolina advanced to its third NCAA Championship match in school history Friday night as the Tar Heels claimed a 3-1 shootout win after battling No. 13 UCLA to a 2-2 draw after 110 minutes. The Tar Heels will face a familiar foe in Charlotte in the title game on Sunday at 4:00. (Tar Heel Blue)
