Posted Dec 11, 2011
North Carolina has been to the semifinals of the NCAA College Cup four straight seasons, including a pair of trips to the championship game. Today, the Tar Heels will play cross-state rival Charlotte (4 p.m., ESPNU) with a chance to win UNC’s first men’s soccer title since defeating Indiana in 2001. The game will mark the third time in 10 years that two teams from the same state played in the final.
