Men's Soccer Team Named Tar Heel Performer Of The Week

The University of North Carolina men's soccer team, coaches and staff have collectively been named the Tar Heel Performers of the Week for the period December 5-11, 2011. It was an easy choice after head coach Carlos Somoano led the Tar Heels to the NCAA title in his first season at the helm. Carolina capped off its championship run with a 1-0 win over Charlotte Sunday in the title game. (Tar Heel Blue)
