Todd Gurley will do anything to stay on the field

Tarboro running back Todd Gurley will do just about anything to stay on the football field. During Thursday’s Shrine Bowl practice at Spartanburg High School, the highly sought after prospect took it upon himself to switch over to defense. However, North Carolina coach Mark Barnes would have none of it. “Todd Gurley, get out of there at nose guard,” he said with a laugh. “And don’t come over here to the offensive line, either.” Gurley later took snaps in the Wildcat formation, which seemed to sit well with the Tar Heels.
