Victory over Duke keeps UNC alive for NCAA playoffs

North Carolina needs help getting into the NCAA Tournament. Duke needs time for its ailing team to heal. Both got what they needed Wednesday as sixth-seeded UNC upset third-seeded Duke 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the ACC Men's Soccer Tournament at SAS Soccer Park. The Tar Heels (7-7-5) will meet Wake Forest, a 3-1 winner over Clemson, in the semifinals. (Raleigh News & Observer)
