X-rays negative on fallen cheerleader

The North Carolina cheerleader who took a hard fall during the Tar Heels' win over Elon on Thursday night was released from the hospital after X-rays showed no fractures, a team spokesman said. With 3:01 left at the Smith Center, the game was delayed when the female cheerleader was knocked off another cheerleader's shoulders when an official inadvertently bumped into the them. (ESPN.com)
