Tre Boston may be UNC's best recruiter
Posted Feb 2, 2012
Before classes Wednesday morning, North Carolina safety Tre Boston texted Lehigh’s Malik Simmons and Cape Coral’s Tyreece Jiles with the following words: “Congratulations on being a Tar Heel. Now let’s get to work.” Using a no-pressure approach where he talked little about football, the former North Fort Myers High star was host for the Southwest Florida recruits in what’s become a hotbed of defensive back talent. He met with them and their families on their visits to Chapel Hill, N.C., as well as Bradenton Manatee’s Clint Heaven.
