ACC expansion means fewer rivalry games

In the new format, ACC clubs will meet nine conference brethren just once each every season, essentially making those contests glorified nonconference games that count in different columns in the standings. ACC basketball hasn’t been the same since the last expansion, and will be less so with this next phase. But the league needed to expand to survive, and with it comes some positives.
