Tar Heels land 6-11 recruit

North Carolina’s sparkling Class of 2008 recruiting haul grew even more impressive Monday afternoon when 6-foot-11 forward Tyler Zeller out of Indiana pledged a verbal commitment to the Tar Heels. Zeller, the No. 22 prospect in the senior class according to Rivals.com, chose Carolina over in-state competitors Purdue, Indiana and Notre Dame. He revealed his decision at a press conference at Washington High School in Indiana. (Fayetteville Observer)
