Tyler Zeller spurns Purdue for North Carolina

Yet another Indiana schoolboy basketball standout is leaving the state to play in college. Tyler Zeller, the 6-foot-11, 220-pound power forward who likely will be Indiana's 2008 Mr. Basketball, announced Monday that he has accepted an offer to play at North Carolina. Ranked as the nation's 22nd-best high school senior by rivals.com and fourth-best power forward, Zeller had narrowed his choices to the Tar Heels, Purdue and Indiana. (Journal and Courier)
