UNC Opens Exhibition Play with 114-62 Win Over Shaw


Roy Williams knew his team could score. North Carolina’s 2007-08 roster boasts the return of three of the team’s top four scorers from last year’s squad that averaged 85.7 points a game. And the Tar Heels certainly lit up the scoreboard with some flashy dunks and fast break runs in a 114-62 win against Shaw University in Saturday’s exhibition game. But Williams was looking for something more - defense. (WRAL.com)
