Tar Heel Women Fall At No. 6 Maryland, 84-64


Alyssa Thomas had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and No. 6 Maryland took control early in an 84-64 rout of North Carolina on Friday night. Alicia DeVaughn scored 14 and Laurin Mincy had 13 for the Terrapins, who never trailed after yielding the game's first point. Maryland went 8 for 10 from 3-point range and finished with a 49-32 rebounding advantage. (Tar Heel Blue)
