UNC to hold spring football practice session in Charlotte

It’s unofficially official, but North Carolina will be holding one of its 15 spring football practice sessions in Charlotte. The tentative date is April 5 and the site is Mallard Creek High School. The event is expected to be a full-scale scrimmage, although it’s not a substitute for the annual spring game, which will be played in Chapel Hill on April 14. The scrimmage will probably begin between 6 and 6:30 p.m. (Fayetteville Observer)
