N.C. State's frustration peaks with close loss to rival UNC

After the final horn sounded in North Carolina's 69-67 victory against N.C. State in Saturday's ACC tournament semifinal, Wolfpack forward Richard Howell was furious. He screamed at official Tim Nestor, having to be restrained by teammates. The Wolfpack's attempt to upset the league's top seed and end any doubt about its NCAA tournament worth ended in a series of tough-to-stomach breaks and a nightmarish final minute.
