Tar Heel Women Not Selected To NCAA Tournament

The North Carolina women's basketball team was not selected to the 2012 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament as announced by the Division I Women's Basketball Committee Monday evening. UNC had a 20-11 record and finished fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference, which received just four bids after getting at least six for nine straight years. (Tar Heel Blue)
