Jabari Parker wins Mr. Basketball of Illinois

Jabari Parker continues to add history to his story. And his stories have many titles. The latest, Mr. Basketball of Illinois for 2012, is historic, too. Parker is the first non-senior winner in the 32-year history of the award, presented by the Chicago Tribune in conjunction with the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. “That was a goal,” Parker said of winning the award. “But not before winning a state championship.
