Tar Heels coming to Charlotte with new football coach
Posted Apr 3, 2012
UNC’s football team won’t be in Charlotte for the ACC championship game or a bowl this year. The Tar Heels are making the trip there anyway. The team is holding a scrimmage open to the public Thursday at Mallard Creek High School as part of an outreach initiative under new coach Larry Fedora. “Our guys are going to get on a bus...and we’re going to perform,” he said. “It’s another aspect of what game-day situations are going to be like.”
