Secure the Borders: North Carolina's problem with losing in-state recruits


Larry Fedora has made a huge deal out of securing North Carolina's top prep talent in his first four months as the Tar Heels' head coach. With fertile recruiting ground around Charlotte and some pretty strong traditional pockets in other areas of the state -- Greensboro and Wilmington, to name a few -- it seems like something Fedora should be shooting for. Especially when you consider how much trouble North Carolina schools have had in the recent past keeping their top recruits close to home. (Greensboro News & Record)
