Forward Anthony Gill being pursued by UNC
Posted Apr 17, 2012
Anthony Gill, the 6-foot-8 forward who is considering coming to Virginia as a transfer (from South Carolina), says he spoke to UNC coach Roy Williams last night. "I talked to Roy Williams last night and he wanted me to call him back and tell him if they have a chance today. So I’m just going to call him back today and let him know. But I mean, I really don’t know if they do or not. It was definitely cool, just knowing the history that North Carolina has and what he’s done for the state of North Carolina. And I’m from North Carolina—so I definitely was in awe of him."
