A day after being given a deadline by North Carolina coach Roy Williams to tell him if he was interested in playing at UNC, former South Carolina forward Anthony Gill has decided to trim the Tar Heels from the list of schools he is looking to transfer to, his father told The Daily Progress on Wednesday. In addition, Gill’s father, who is also named Anthony, said Virginia coach Tony Bennett and associate head coach Ritchie McKay flew in to Columbia, S.C. to visit with his son on Wednesday.
