Tar Heel Lacrosse Falls Short In ACC Championship Bid


The UNC men's lacrosse team fell short in its first bid for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship since 1996 as the ninth-ranked Tar Heels lost to seventh-ranked Duke 12-9 Sunday afternoon before a crowd of 1,956 fans at Klockner Stadium. Chad Tutton of UNC led the Tar Heels with three goals while Jimmy Bitter had a pair of goals and an assist. (Tar Heel Blue)
